If you're planning your own trip to Blue Spring State Park, these directions may be useful.
Blue Spring State Park is located in Orange City (just south of Deland), roughly halfway between Daytona Beach and Orlando.
You might reach the general area by taking I-4, the major interstate highway that connects Daytona Beach and Orlando.
The park service site suggests you take Exit 114 off of I-4 and then follow the signs. You want to get on 17-92 and take it south into Orange City.
When you reach West French Avenue you'll turn here, and then continue a few miles to the park.
Again, this is a very popular park, in an urban community. You should be able to follow signs to the park without difficulty, as we did.
This Mapquest map may be of assistance.
If you zoom in a couple of times on the map you'll see West French Avenue and Valentine Park. You will want to take West French Avenue past Valentine Park to Blue Spring State Park. The Mapquest map doesn't actually show Blue Spring State Park, but once you're on West French Avenue you can't miss it.
